Day 285 It's called being vulnerable… that connection with another person or even a group of people. It is a dynamic that transcends direct interaction, as can be seen in human interest news stories, or even movies when the actor is convincing in his or her role and makes us care about them.

But in recovery, the acting must go out the window. Trying to be someone I am not has played a significant role in my journey through hell. Only the honesty that becomes my new reality will keep me from returning there; honesty with my spouse, my family, and my fellows. –JR
